Fancy a three-blade setup on your M2? OMPHOBBY has released the CFS (Central Flapping System) 3-blade rotor head, a drop-in upgrade for the M2 V3 Pro and M2 V3 Sport. The part number is OSHM2516.
How it works
CFS uses a new damped split-spindle design with the flapping hinge in the centre of the head. OMPHOBBY says this gives very clean separation between the axes, so the cyclic feels precise with plenty of authority across the whole flight envelope. As a bonus, the three-blade disc sounds quieter and smoother.
Key features
- Drop-in upgrade for the M2 V3 Pro and M2 V3 Sport, with only minimal setup changes
- Central flapping hinge with damped split spindles
- Machined from black anodised aluminium
- Designed around OMPHOBBY 173mm main blades (OSHM2517, 3-pack, sold separately)
- Matched to the stock SUNNYSKY R40X-3 motor, with power draw similar to the standard 2-blade setup on APEX 190 blades
